Welcome to my Tuts Regulations each tutorial that is share here is handwritten by me to teach you how to make graphic tag designs, each one is sample with my name *Tinkers Boo* on it as shown as sample design.

All materials is provide sometimes you may need to purchase Scrap kit and/or PSP Tube/Poser. All tutorials are design to teach yow how to work with scrap kits designs of mine or other artists whom makes scrap kits that I have permission to use for writing as I promote their designs and/or site.

No blanks designs are provide but if you join my forum you may request for them under my tag offers as I will share them from time to time for members to request names add to them and/or you may request name be add this only provide for members of my forum.

Beach Bum 2 Tutorial

Materials Need: PTU Tut

Purchase Message Bottle Kit HERE
Beach Bum Tag Template HERE (free)

Open PSP Program

1. Open the tag template go to Windows>Duplicate close the original out now delete the copyright banner then go down to the white 3 square frame either use your selection tool or eraser an erase the lines in the middle as shown above..

 A. If you can not open the psp image then build it with the png templates by opening the base transparent then go to Edit>Copy then Edit>Paste into new raster layer til get it all looking like the sample provide.. then do the follow as step 1 with the square 3 frame

2. Go into the Kit Tou Folder an open the Color chart we first going to color some of the templates

 A. Go to the palm tree an go to Selections>Select all>Float now go to Layers>Add new raster layer click on the green color to your foreground solids then click on your paint can an paint the green into the new raster layer then go to Blend>Overlay an then go to Selections>Select None

 B. Go to the board walk an go to Selections>Select all>Float now go to Layers>Add new raster layer now click on the brown color to your foreground solids then click on your paint can an paint the brown color into the new raster layers then go to Blend>Overlay then go to Selections>Select None

C. Go to Ball 1- use # 6 color off white do step B again to Ball 1

D. Go to Ball 2- Choose 3 Colors I use # 1-Turqoise # 2- Hot Pink # 10-Blue and then do step B again to Ball 2

E. Go to Ball 3- Choose 1 Color I use the # 12-Yellow and then do step B one more time

3. Move the Arrow, word art up a little and delete the pole layer

4. Open Paper 6 go to Edit>Copy now go to your gray rectangle template (raster 3) an go to Selections>Select all>Float now go to Edit>Paste into Selections then go to Selections>Select None
close the paper 

5. Take your Selection tool an go down to the Boardwalk an make a box line up with the end of the water an then go to Edit>Cut then also cut the boardwalk template as shown above

6. Open Paper 7 go to Edit>Copy now go down to the black template (raster 1) and go to Selections>Select all>Float now go to Edit>Paste into Selections then go to Selections None close the paper

7. Open Paper 8 add it to your foreground pattern 45 angle, 50 scales click okay now go down to your gray two rectangle templates (raster 2) an go to Selections>Select all>Float now go to Layers>Add new raster layer now click on your paint can an paint the strips paper into the two templates then once done keep the marching ants an go to your 3d Effects>Inner Bevel with this setting below

Width 20
Image Smoothness 15
Depth 3
Ambience 0
Shininess 0
Color is White
Angle 315
Intensity 50
Elevation 30

Click okay then go to Selections>Select None. (keep paper open)

8. Go to the white frame (raster 4) an go to Selections>Select all>Float now go to Layers>Add new raster layer now click on your paint can an paint the strips paper into the new raster layer (keep the marching ants) go to your 3d Effects>Inner Bevel same as before (above step 7) and then go to 3d Effects>Drop Shadow of -2 -2 50 2 black click okay then again at 2 2 50 2 black click okay then go to Selections>Select None. Close the paper we done using it

9. Open Paper 10 an add it to your foreground pattern  0 angle, 50 scales click okay now go down to the surfboard template an go to Selections>Select all>Float now go to Layers>Add new raster layer now click on your paint can an paint the pattern paper into the new raster layer then go to Selections>Select None. Go to Layers>Duplicate, go to 3d Effects>Cut Out Effects with this setting below

Offset V/H 0
Opacity 85
Blur 35
Shadow Color Black
Uncheck Fill interior Color (we want it close off)

Click okay. Close the paper

10. Open Sand an go to Image>Resize 80% now go to Edit>Copy now go above the strip frame (raster 4) an go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer an with your move tool move the sand down beneath the beach ball (shown above) now take your wrap brush (default setting) an push the sand
a little up on the left side to cover the strips by the surfboard as shown above (kinda push the sand a little around with the wrap brush)

11. Open Beach Fence 2 (or 1 your choice) go to Image>Resize 80% now go to Edit>Copy now go beneath the black arrow template an go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer an with your move tool place it down on the strip paper on the right side as shown above line the fence with the edge of the strip frame

12. Open Surfboard 1 an go to Edit>Copy now go down the pattern surfboard an go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer an with your move tool line the 1st surfboard on the edge (cover strips on the bottom)

13. Open Surfboard 2 an do step 12 again but leave it by surfboard 1 as shown above

14. Open Palm Tree 2 an go to Edit>Copy now go down to the green palm tree an go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer an lay it a on top next to the surfboard 2 as shown above

15. Open Palm Tree 1 an go to Image>Resize 70% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the images an go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer an with your move tool place the palm tree in the grab as shown above

16. Open Flower 1 (or your choice 3 choose from) an go to Image>Resize 45% now go to Edit>Copy now go to your flower template an go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer an lay your flower you choose on top of the flower template then delete the flower template and the pearl template

17. Open Boat 2 an go to Image>Mirror then go to Image>Resize 25% now go to Edit>Copy now go down to the brown boardwalk an go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer an with your move tool place the boat on the boardwalk towards the end of the water

18. Move the black arrow and word art a little up on the pink flower (or the flower you choose) as shown above

19. Open Cookie Lifeguard 1 an go to Image>Resize 60% now go to Edit>Copy now go above the boat an go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer an place her on the board walk as shown above

20. Add a Drop Shadow to Cookie go to your 3d Effects>Drop Shadow of 0 0 70 25 black (gives it depth)

21. Open Beach Bag 3 (or the color of the flower you choose) an go to Image>Resize 20% now go to Edit>Copy now go down beneath Cookie an go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer an with your move tool place it into her left hand then once in place go to Layers>Duplicate, Move the bag above Cookie now take your small eraser an erase the bag on her hand then once happy move the bag up above the strips frame

22. Now go down to the white frame, and the strips frame an with your eraser erase it beneath the bag to the beach ball (it's going to open the boardwalk) as shown above

23. Open Paper 1 add it to your foreground pattern 0 angle, 50 scales click okay now go to the black arrow template an go to Selections>Select all>Float now go to Layers>Add new raster layer click on your paint can paint the blue paper into the marching ants then go to your 3d Effects>Inner Bevel (same as before) click okay then go to Selections>Select None

24. Go to the word art Beach Bum an adjust it on the blue arrow then once adjust go to your 3d Effects>Drop Shadow of 2 2 70 2 black click okay (give depth)

25. Add copyright as shown below

26. Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible


27. Crop the image out of the extra transparent image


28. Add your name if you wish with your choice of font
